“Lights, Camera, Action!” 28th Annual Recital

UDA offers an opportunity to be a part of a truly professional production as the students at an early age discover the magic of the stage. You won’t want to miss their dreams come alive as they dance in the spotlight. Universal's 28th Annual Recital will be presented in June of 2023. The spring recital consists of a full-length ballet and grand finale with the entire cast. A separate act includes the excitement of all genres of dance. This is the most spectacular way to share and perform the hard work achieved throughout the season. This is the most cherished performance of the year for owners & directors, Angela & Vivian.

Saturday Show: June 3, 2023

Sunday Show: June 4, 2023

Recital costumes are ordered in December. Please allow a $50.00-$140.00 costume expense for every class your child is in.  Costume fees due in December, however; partial payments can be made at any time Sept. – Dec.  If paid by Dec. 31st, 2022, discount will be applied.  If your child is unable to take part in the recital, notify the office in writing before Dec. 1st. to ensures a costume is not ordered for your child.

Class photos will be taken May 20 & 21, 2023. There is no sitting fee and no obligation to buy; however, we encourage every student to come even if they do not wish to buy any photos, so every student is present in a special class photo.

UDA is proud to provide professional recital photos by S + J Photography for all dancers performing in the annual recital. The photo package will be billed to all recital participants in April and will be due by April 20th, 2023. These special recital photo keepsakes will be yours for $15 per student or $20 per family. Enjoy the memories for a lifetime!
